14- PEARL ORIENTAL TOWER
This modern and original communications tower is located in the Pudong district of the Chinese city of Shanghai. With its 468 meters high it has become a symbol of the city and one of its main tourist attractions.
The architectural design of this tower is based on a succession of spheres in 1995, up to 15, and three main columns that lead to the great upper sphere where there is a viewpoint 350 meters high that is called “Space Module”.
There is another lookout at 263 meters and a last viewpoint, known as “City of Space”, which is 90 meters away. The tower also has a revolving restaurant 267 meters high.
